Comet Atlas C/2019 Y4 – 5 Hour Time Lapse

This is a Short video without “Sound” and consists of a 5 hour imaging session of the transit of Comet Atlas C/2019 Y4 pasing by the stars. It includes over 200 LUM filtered 15 sec exposures taken 1 minute apart from an Dedicated Astro Cam. I will be following and Imaging this Comet with different techniques until it is out of our sight. Comet Atlas is supposed to be able to be seen with the Naked Eye as it makes its Orbit around the Sun. As it approaches closer to the Sun, the Comet Tail will grow larger as the Sun’s heat starts to melt away at it.
