Flaming Star Nebula – IC 405

Telescope and Binocular Wizard

The Flaming Star Nebula is an emission and reflection Nebula and is located about 1,500 Light years from Earth. This image is shown in Bi-Color. Using HA and Sii with a combination of (HSS). It was captured by Sequence Generator Pro, stacked in DSS and then Combined in Photoshop and polished off. It was imaged with the following equipment below.

  • Stellarvue SVX080T-R with FF Refractor
  • iOptron CEM 70
  • ZWo 1600mm Pro
  • ZWO EFW 8 POS
  • ZWO F4 mini Guidescope
  • ZWO 290mm for guiding
  • Astronomik 6NM NB filters (30) x 10 minute HA & (20) x 10 Minute Sii
