M 13 Hercules Star Cluster

This is The Great Star Cluster in Hercules. 25,000 Light Years away. Also known as M 13. It was discovered by Edmond Halley in 1714. I imaged this with about 3 hours of RGB filters using a Mono CCD Dedicated Astro Cam. The Magnification is about 230x. There are many Globular clusters in the Milky Way Galaxy. This one happens to be one of the best known ones in the Northern Hemisphere.
