Super Blood Wolf Moon Eclipse January 2019

Telescope and Binocular Wizard

The Super Blood Wolf Moon Eclipse was in January 2019. It is called Super Blood Wolf Moon, because it was a Super Moon and a Total Eclipse which the moon appeared Red.

A Super Moon occurs when the Moon’s lunar orbit is at its Peregee (The closest distance to Earth.) And an Eclipse Occurs when the Earth falls in between the Sun and Moon. Why don’t we see Eclipses too often? Becaue the Moon’s orbit is slightly tilted.
